Urban Meyer attempts to make sense of Kyle McCord entering Transfer Portal

Michigan State defensive lineman Khris Bogle has re-entered the NCAA transfer portal as a grad transfer, The Athletic’s Max Olson reports.

He previously transferred from Florida in 2022 after three seasons and put up five solo tackles and 15.5 sacks for the Spartans over the past two years. He has totaled 91 tackles over his five-year career to go with 10.5 sacks, including a career-high four sacks in 2020 with the Gators.

Bogle played high school football at Cardinal Gibbons (FL), where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 54 overall recruit in the 2019 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a proprietary algorithm that compiles ratings and rankings from all four primary recruiting media services.

While Bogle’s inital commitment to Florida came before the release of On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM), the former top 10-ranked EDGE rusher received interest from Alabama, Georgia and LSU, among others, but ultimately chose to stay in-state and play at Florida for the first three years of his career.

He will have one year of eligibility remaining.

Track transfer portal activity

As of December 8th, 1,452 FBS players have entered the Transfer Portal.

While the NCAA Transfer Portal database is private, the On3 Network has streamlined the reporting process tracking player movement. If you find yourself asking, ‘How can I track transfer portal activity?’ our well-established network of reporters and contacts across college athletics keeps you up to speed in several ways, from articles written about players as they enter and exit the transfer portal or find their new destination, to our social media channels, to the On3 Transfer Portal.

The transfer portal wire provides a real-time feed of player activity, including basic player profile information, transfer portal ranking and original On3 Industry recruiting ranking, as well as NIL valuation (name, image and likeness).
