Best Transfer Portal Players - Where Are They Going?!? | College Football Craziness! | Inside Scoop

Michigan offensive lineman Noah Stewart has entered the transfer portal. He spent four seasons with the Wolverines, making four appearances.

In the 2023 campaign, Stewart played in two games. First, he saw action on special teams against ECU. Then, on Oct. 14, Stewart played multiple snaps at right tackle against Indiana. Stewart was a backup this season for Michigan’s loaded offensive front.

Michigan’s front five only allowed 1.33 sacks per game, ranking No. 27 in the country. The group was a legitimate contender for the 2023 Joe Moore Award, an honor annually given to the best offensive line in the country. Washington’s offensive line took home the hardware this season.

Noah Stewart played high school football at North Muskegon (MI), where he was an unranked prospect, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

More on the Michigan transfer portal

Stewart is the eighth Michigan player to enter the transfer portal. He is joined by notable standouts such as Darrius Clemons and Amorion Walker. Michigan has only added two players in the transfer portal, linebacker Jaishawn Barham (Maryland) and interior offensive lineman Josh Priebe (Northwestern).

Priebe will be another player Stewart would have to compete against next season if he does not transfer out of Michigan. Priebe spent four productive years at Northwestern, playing in 9+ games in each season while serving as a starter for the majority of the year in each of the last three.

Josh Priebe played high school football at Edwardsburg (Mi.) High, where he was a three-star recruit in the 2020 class, per the On3 Industry Rankings. He was also rated the No. 422 overall prospect and the No. 12 guy from the state of Michigan.

Michigan has had far less time to focus on the transfer portal since it played in the national championship. With time to rest and reconsider, the Wolverines will likely see more movement in the coming days.

Of course, these changes will only intensify if head coach Jim Harbaugh accepts an NFL head coaching position. Rumors continue to swirl about a possible return to the NFL, and he interviewed with two teams — the Los Angeles Chargers and Atlanta Falcons — this week.
