A season of trolling continues for Tennessee Titans offensive lineman Taylor Lewan.

Lewan played college football at Michigan, where he was a two-time All-American and ultimately a first-round draft pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. His current head coach, Mike Vrabel, played college football at Ohio State

After the Wolverines topped the Buckeyes 42-27 on Saturday, Lewan took to Twitter to make a special announcement.

“Im making a donation to the University of Michigan in the name of Jen and Mike Vrabel,” Lewan tweeted, tagging the Michigan football Twitter account.

Lewan appeared in 50 games for the Wolverines during his time in Ann Arbor. He made 48 starts, including 41 consecutive. He earned all-Big Ten honors twice.

His team topped Ohio State for the first time under head coach Jim Harbaugh on Saturday, and they will play for the Big Ten title next weekend against Iowa. If they win, they likely earn a berth in the College Football Playoff.

Lewan trolled Michigan State ahead of in-state showdown

This is not the first time this season Lewan has been outspoken about a Michigan rivalry game.

Prior to an Oct. 30 game between Michigan State and Michigan, one which Michigan ultimately lost 37-33, Lewan chimed in on Twitter.

Lewan also addressed the game in a press conference, taking a not-so-subtle shot at the Spartans, among other comments.

“Michigan is going home, taking Paul Bunyan and kindly, I am not going to say the F word, but … Michigan State, not going to say the F word, but … Michigan State,” Lewan said.

Lewan has long been one of the biggest trash talkers in the NFL, so it’s not surprising coming from him. He did have a humbling moment earlier in the 2021 season, though.

Lewan was repeatedly roasted on Sep. 12 by Arizona Cardinals defensive end Chandler Jones for two sacks in the Cardinals-Titans game, but instead of pouting about it, he thanked Jones for exposing him and said it would force him to get better.

Jones racked up a career high five sacks against the Titans offensive line, putting on a clinic against them all afternoon. Lewan was a little sluggish out of the gates this season for the Titans coming back from an ACL tear that he suffered in 2020. He suffered a concussion in Week 7 and was carted off the field, and he suffered a knee injury a few weeks ago.
