Mississippi State wide receiver Justin Robinson is back in the transfer portal, On3 has learned. Robinson is in the portal for the second time after starting his career at Georgia.

This past season, he started seven games for the Bulldogs, finishing with 21 catches for 257 receiving yards.

Justin Robinson was originally a four-star recruit in the class of 2020. He was ranked as the No. 69 receiver in the country, according to the On3 Industry rankings.

After signing with Georgia for the class of 2020, Robinson appeared in one game as a true freshman that year.

The following season, he had a pair of catches for 18 yards, before entering the transfer portal. Robinson then came to Mississippi State, where he was immediately a key part of the offense.

In 2022, Justin Robinson caught 30 passes for 326 yards and three touchdowns. He was the star of the ReliaQuest Bowl against Illinois to close out the year, catching seven passes for 81 yards to earn MVP honors.

This past season, his best game came against South Carolina. The Georgia native had six catches for 91 yards against the Gamecocks, recording season-highs in both categories.

After playing college football at two SEC schools, it will be interesting to see where Justin Robinson ends up next.

Mississippi State DB Trent Singleton enters NCAA transfer portal

Justin Robinson isn’t the only Mississippi State player to enter the transfer portal this week. Bulldogs defensive back Trent Singleton entered the portal on Tuesday.

Singleton spent two seasons with the Mississippi State program, although he didn’t appear in a game over those two years.

He signed with the Bulldogs as a three-star recruit and the No. 29 prospect in the country in the class of 2022, according to the On3 Industry rankings.

Trent Singleton came to Mississippi State after attending Raymond High School where he played under head coach Robert Jacobs.

In addition to playing defensive back, he also played quarterback in high school. As a senior, he completed 42 of 69 passes for 537 yards and four touchdowns. He also rushed for 528 yards and 11 scores.

Singleton is known for his speed as he ran the 100m, 200m and relays with his high school track team, winning a state title.

Now that he is leaving Mississippi State, he will have three years of eligibility remaining.

Coming out of high school, he chose the Bulldogs over offers from MemphisTulane and others.
