2023 CB Ethan Nation commits to Nebraska

Three-star cornerback Ethan Nation of Roswell (GA) High announced his commitment to Nebraska Tuesday afternoon.

The 5-foot-11, 160 pounder chose the Cornhuskers over Ohio State, Auburn, Houston, and Colorado.

“The coaching staff really showed me that they wanted me and I want to bring Nebraska back to the top where they once were.”

“I’m closest with coach Coop,” Nation said. “I feel he can help elevate my game and get me to the next level. Playing fields corner then as I progress, I’ll move to nickel and boundary.”

The Peach State defensive back joins coach Rhule and the Cornhuskers’ No. 33 class in the 2023 team rankings. He is accompanied by Malachi Coleman, Princewill Umanmielen, and others.

Nation ranks as the No. 428 player in the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that accounts for all four major recruiting sites. He also tabs in as the No. 44 cornerback and the No. 43 player in the state of Georgia.
