2024 LB Vincent Shavers commits to Nebraska

Miami Gardens Central three-star linebacker Vincent Shavers has committed to Nebraska.

He chose the Cornhuskers following his decommitment from Miami on Dec. 15.

Shavers is the No. 609 overall prospect and No. 55 LB in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 76 player in Florida.

The 6-foot, 205-pounder took an official visit to Lincoln in December and is now the latest addition for the Huskers’ 2024 recruiting class. He’s now the second Sunshine State LB on Matt Rhule’s pledge list, joining Miami Christopher Columbus three-star Willis McGahee IV.
