New Haven (Ind.) five-star wide receiver Mylan Graham has committed to Ohio State. He chose the Buckeyes over Alabama, Purdue and Tennessee.

Graham is the No. 12 overall prospect and No. 4 wide receiver in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 1 player in Indiana.

“I can feel that coach (Brian) Hartline really wants me to be one of his guys in the ’24 class,” Graham told Matt Parker of Lettermen Row on Sept. 16. “I’ve built a relationship with coach (Ryan) Day, other recruiting people and player personnel people.”

Prior his commitment, the 6-foot-0.5, 170-pound wideout visited Columbus multiple times. His most recent trip to Ohio State came last weekend.

“A place I can walk onto campus and feel like home, where I can feel like a brotherhood and the energy is always there,” Graham told Kyle Kelly of Blue and Gold on March 3 about what is important to him in a college. “A great bond and relationship with the coaching staff, a place where I can go and I can make sure I can play and do everything I can to get me more ability to play early. The distance from home doesn’t really matter as much.”

Graham continues Ohio State’s success in the 2024 cycle

Landing Graham continues Hartline’s streak of notching commitments from top wide receivers. The Buckeyes already have a pledge from Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna Prep Five-Star Plus+ wide receiver Jeremiah Smith, the No. 2 overall prospect and No. 1 wide receiver in the On3 Industry Ranking.

Following Graham’s commitment, the Buckeyes’ 2024 recruiting class ranks No. 2 in the 2024 On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 1 in the Big Ten. The group is led by Graham and Smith, who chose Ohio State on Dec. 14.

For multiple months, Graham has established himself as one of the best wideouts in the country. Now, he is heading to one of the most successful programs for players at his position.

“I understand the game a lot,” Graham told Kelly. “I think my greatest ability is my YAC ability, yards after the catch. When I get the ball in my hands, I’m dynamic with it. I get in and out of breaks fast, good footwork. I attack the ball and I always win one-on-one matchups.”
