Ottawa (Ohio) Glandorf three-star shooting guard Colin White has committed to Ohio State, he told On3.

The 6-foot-6, 180-pound rising senior chose the Buckeyes over a final group of Northwestern, Butler, Cincinnati, and TCU.

He is the second player to commit to Chris Holtmann and Co., joining four-star SG Juni Mobley (No. 42 overall nationally).

White spoke to On3 about his decision to choose the Ohio State Buckeyes.

“I chose Ohio State because it felt like home,” he said. “I have a great relationship with the coaches and the players that made me want to be there. Their play style and ability to develop guards is also another reason why it is a great place to be.”

In his own words, what type of player is Ohio State getting in Colin White?

“I am a tough two-way player that really takes pride in the defensive end but will really take advantage on the offensive side. I can score in any way whether that is at the rim using my athleticism or shooting pull ups or threes. I have a variety of different ways to do things.”

He has a message for OSU fans.

“They are getting someone that is going to give everything to the Buckeyes. I am ready to work and make Buckeye nation proud.”

White ranks as the No. 150 overall prospect in the 2024 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 32 shooting guard in the class and the No. 4 player in Ohio.
