Lakewood (Ohio) four-star offensive tackles Deontae and Devontae Armstrong are two of the top recruits in a strong 2024 class in the Buckeye State.

Numerous programs have come calling for the twin brothers, including Penn State, Michigan, Michigan State, Purdue and more. But one program has taken a major lead in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine lately: the Ohio State Buckeyes.

After an expert prediction in favor of the Buckeyes for both brothers on Wednesday, Ohio State now holds a 90.1 percent chance of securing their commitment.

Ohio State offered both brothers on Jan. 13 and they each spoke with Lettermen Row’s Matt Parker about how much it meant to receive that offer.

“This one certainly means a little more than some, being from the state of Ohio, and growing up an Ohio State fan just makes this offer feel a lot better,” Deontae Armstrong told Lettermen Row. “It just felt different to get offered by a school that you watched on TV since you were a little kid.”

Deontae is the No. 300 overall prospect, No. 18 offensive tackle and the No. 18 player in Ohio for the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking.

Devontae is ranked as the No. 329 overall prospect, No. 21 offensive tackle and the No. 12 player in Ohio.

On3 is higher on both brothers than other major recruiting services though, according to the Industry Comparison. Deontae is the No. 269 overall prospect, No. 20 offensive tackle and No. 10 player in Ohio in the 2024 On300.

Devontae is the No. 299 overall prospect, No. 21 offensive tackle and No. 13 player in Ohio.
