Ohio State safety transfer Kye Stokes commits to Cincinnati
Ohio State safety transfer Kye Stokes has committed to Cincinnati, he announced on his Twitter account on Saturday morning.
Stokes spent two seasons with the Buckeyes, racking up 12 tackles, 1.0 tackles for a loss and a forced fumble. But all that production came in 2022.
The 6-foot-1, 195-pound safety played in just three games in 2023 and did not record any stats, entering the portal after the season ended.
Prior to enrolling at Ohio State, Stokes was a four-star prospect and the No. 287 overall player in the nation in the 2022 recruiting class, according to the On3 Industry Rankings.
He also checked in as the No. 27 safety in his class and the No. 33 overall player from the state of Florida, hailing from Seffner (FL) Armwood.
