Ohio State freshman guard Bruce Thornton is available to play in Wednesday’s game against Nebraska, according to college basketball insider Jon Rothstein.

He was questionable for the game with a wrist injury.

Thornton is fifth on the team with 9.6 points per game and has stated all 17 games this season. He averaged 29.5 minutes per game, shooting 44.3% from the field and 44.9% from beyond the arc.

In the Buckeyes previous game, Thornton led the team with 36 minutes played but scored only four points. Ohio State lost the game to Rutgers in overtime.

The Buckeyes are playing in Lincoln, Neb., tonight in a matchup of two middle-of-the-pack Big Ten programs. Ohio State is 10-7 while Nebraska is 9-9.
