Last week, Des Moines (Iowa) Southeast Polk five-star offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor took an official visit to Oregon. The Iowa commit watched the Ducks lose a close game to Washington 37-34.

It is clear that Oregon’s coaching staff is working hard to flip Proctor from the Hawkeyes. The latest evidence came Friday night, as Ducks offensive line coach Adrian Klemm is attending Proctor’s state championship game against West Des Moines (Iowa) Valley.

Proctor is the No. 10 overall prospect and No. 2 offensive tackle in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 1 player in Iowa.

The 6-foot-6, 330-pound prospect is the highest-ranked prospect in the Hawkeyes’ 2023 recruiting class. Iowa’s group is No. 30 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 6 in the Big Ten

Meanwhile, Oregon’s 2023 recruiting class is No. 11 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 1 in the Pac-12. The group is led by Detroit Martin Luther King five-star quarterback Dante Moore, the No. 7 overall prospect in the On3 Consensus.

Proctor has an On3 NIL Valuation of $264K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Kadyn Proctor On3 Scouting Summary

The following is the On3 Scouting Summary for Kadyn Proctor:

“Wide, physically-developed offensive tackle who excels as a mauling run blocker. Dominant at the point of attack, using strong and quick hands to neutralize opposing defensive linemen. Plays with a nasty mentality as a block finisher, planting defensive linemen in the ground with regularity. Moves well and shows his athleticism as a defensive lineman. Does not appear to have high-end length for an offensive tackle and tends to lunge at times in his pass set.”
