Oregon continues to trend with a slew of top prospects as it seeks another top-five recruiting class. The Ducks hosted their spring game over the weekend and had many of said prospects on campus in Eugene.

Belleville (Ill.) Althoff Catholic four-star athlete and running back target Dierre Hill made his way back to the Pacific Northwest and was once again impressed by the new Big 10 program. Now, the Ducks are trending heavily for his pledge in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM).

On Wednesday, Oregon insider Max Torres and On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons each logged picks in favor of the Ducks landing the 5-foot-10.5, 180-pounder. On3 VP of Recruiting Steve Wiltfong was the first to do so over the weekend.

“The Ducks came out of the weekend as the favorite to land the four-star in Illinois. Word is he is looking to lock in a commitment date and (Dan) Lanning’s program is the one to beat,” Simmons wrote earlier this week.

Hill is the No. 140 overall prospect and No. 6 ATH in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 5 player in Illinois.

Ducks aiming to add to stacked offensive class

Despite losing running backs coach Carlos Locklyn to Ohio State, Oregon is still in the driver’s seat for Hill after his first in-person interaction with new Ducks assistant Ra’Shaad Samples. If Hill does join Oregon’s class, it’ll continue a run of impressive 2025 commitments on the offensive side of the ball.

Tampa Bay Tech five-star wide receiver Dallas Wilson headlines the class for Oregon, ranking No. 22 in the On3 Industry Ranking. He’s joined by San Diego (Calif.) Lincoln four-star quarterback Akili Smith Jr., the No. 81 recruit and No. 9 gunslinger in the cycle.

Wilson has since been joined by another pair of wideouts in Lee’s Summit (Mo.) North four-star Isaiah Mozee and Scottsdale (Ariz.) Notre Dame Prep four-star Cooper Perry. Mozee is the latest to join the class, as he pledged on April 17.

“It feels like home me every time I am out there,” Mozee told On3 of Oregon. “I like the direction Oregon is going. Dan has done a great job with the program. I’ve known Dan for a long time so that relationship is a huge factor!”

Oregon’s class currently ranks No. 8 in the nation and No. 3 in the Big Ten, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.
