The Oregon Ducks had been putting the finishing touches on a new mural they’d be painting over the summer at their indoor football facility, the Moshofsky Center. It looks like they finally finished up on Wednesday evening, about a week and a half before their season kicks off against the Georgia Bulldogs. The school finished the mural and posted a video to Twitter on Wednesday evening, showing off the many different parts of the mural.

Check it out.

Nicknamed the “Mo” Center, the facility is adjacent to Autzen Stadium. While Oregon has plans to build a new state-of-the-art indoor practice facility in the upcoming years, the Moshofsky Center underwent some renovations over the summer. The billboards inside the facility were taken down and were replaced with the wrap-around mural (above). A few weeks ago, Spencer Lake shared an update of the nearly completed mural on his Twitter page.

More information and details on the Moshofsky Center at Oregon

Oregon opened up the Moshofsky Center in August of 1998–giving the Ducks the first indoor practice facility in what was then known as the Pac-10. The dazzling facility has a full-length artificial turf football surface, a synthetic four-lane 120-meter running track, and a Duck Shop souvenir retail outlet. Not only does Oregon have football practice there during inclement weather, but the facility also hosts eight of their 16 sports.

An automated system of nets drops down within a matter of minutes to convert the structure into a batting cage for the baseball and softball teams. The netting can also provide a driving range for the men’s and women’s golf teams at Oregon. Another really cool feature of the facility is that it features full climate control to allow for simulated heat, humidity, wind, as well as crowd simulation.

The building also houses a medical treatment center, catering services, and an athlete lounge. On gameday for Oregon’s home football games, the Moshofsky Sports Center is converted into “one of the largest indoor tailgate gatherings in the country”, according to the facility’s website. The building can hold up to 5,000 football fans before and after each home game. The original cost of the 117,00 square-foot facility was $15 million. It’s named after former Oregon alum Ed Moshofsky, who went to Oregon business school in 1943.
