Waukesha (Wis.) Catholic Memorial four-star interior offensive lineman Donovan Harbour announced that he has committed to Penn State.

The 6-foot-4, 305-pounder is the No. 165 overall prospect and No. 10 interior offensive lineman in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 1 player in Wisconsin.

Harbour narrowed his list of top schools down to seven in December and included Penn State in the mix. The other six were Florida, Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon, Tennessee and Wisconsin.

Penn State extended an offer to Harbour last April and was in attendance for the Nittany Lions’ spring game on April 15.

“It was amazing,” Harbour told On3 following the visit. “I loved the atmosphere. I loved how they were having fun while competing with each other and also making each other better.

Donovan Harbour currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $74K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Penn State enjoying success in April

With Harbour’s commitment, Penn State’s now had five players commit in April including a trio of four-star prospects.

Four-star cornerback Jon Mitchell announced his commitment to the Nittany Lions on April 1 and the state’s top prospect four-star athlete Quinton Martin pledged six days later.

Following Martin’s pledge, the Nittany Lions picked up a pair of commitments from three-star cornerback Antoine Belgrave-Shorter (April 10) and three-star athlete Caleb Brewer (April 15).

The remainder of Penn State’s 2024 class features four-star interior offensive lineman Cooper Cousins, three-star linebacker Anthony Speca, three-star cornerback Kenny Woseley, three-star linebacker Kari Jackson and three-star tight end Luke Reynolds.

With Harbour’s commitment, the Nittany Lions have the No. 10 class in the country and the No. 3 class in the Big Ten. Penn State wrapped up the 2023 recruiting cycle signing 23 players and finished with the No. 14 class in the country and the No. 2 class in the Big Ten.
