WATCH: James Franklin meets with 4-star WR Rodney Gallagher, other recruits
Penn State head coach James Franklin celebrated the Nittany Lions victory over Michigan State by dapping up a bunch of recruits on the field, including Uniontown (Pa.) Laurel Highlands four-star wide receiver and West Virginia commit Rodney Gallagher.
The visit was Gallagher’s first since April.
Gallagher is the No. 248 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is the third-ranked commit from the state of Pennsylvania, behind two Penn State commits.
He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $132k. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
