Creekside (Ga.) Creekside four-star interior offensive lineman Caleb Holmes announced that he has committed to the Pittsburgh Panthers.

The 6-foot-3, 290-pound is the No. 258 overall prospect and No. 20 interior offensive lineman in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 33 player in Georgia.

Pittsburgh extended an offer to Holmes in October 2021. He took an official visit on June 2.

The pledge from Holmes makes him the second four-star recruit to pledge to the Panthers during the 2024 recruiting cycle. Miami (Fla.) Melbourne Central Catholic four-star wide receiver DayDay Farmer has been committed to Pittsburgh since Dec. 2022.

Currently Pittsburgh has 16 pledges in its 2024 class. The group ranks as the No. 29 class in the country and No. 6 in the ACC.

Pittsburgh’s other 2024 pledges include three-star defensive lineman Jahsear Whittington, three-star running back Juelz Goff, three-star cornerback Allen Bryant, three-star defensive lineman Francis Brewu, three-star EDGE Zachary Crothers, three-star cornerback Nigel Maynard, three-star offensive tackle Jiavani Cooley, three-star linebacker Davin Brewton, three-star cornerback Davion Pritchard, three-star safety Tayshawn Banks, three-star defensive lineman Ty Yuhas, three-star interior offensive lineman Mason Lindsay, three-star offensive tackle Adham Abouraya and three-star tight end Eric Ingwerson.

Holmes currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $49K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
