Tyler (Texas) Tyler Legacy four-star EDGE Travis Jackson announced that he has committed to the TCU Horned Frogs.

The 6-foot-4, 240-pounder is the No. 369 overall prospect and No. 28 EDGE in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 60 player in Texas.

Jackson’s commitment comes a week after he visited the school and the Horned Frogs extended him an offer.

Jackson is the third commitment in TCU’s 2024 class and the Horned Frogs’ highest-ranked commitment. The class ranks as the No. 40 class in the country and the No. 8 class in the Big 12.

TCU’s other commitments include Fort Worth (Texas) Aledo three-star quarterback Hauss Hejny and The Woodlands (Texas) three-star offensive tackle Ryan Hughes.

After making a run to the College Football Playoff national championship, the Horned Frogs finished the 2023 recruiting cycle signing 23 players.

Their class finished as the No. 19 class in the country and the No. 3 class in the Big 12. Mesquite (Texas) North Mesquite four-star wide receiver Cordale Russell was the highest-ranked player to sign with the Horned Frogs in that cycle sitting at No. 81 in the country.

Travis Jackson currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $31K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
