Four-star interior offensive lineman Isendre Ahfua of Seattle (WA) O’Dea High announced his commitment to Texas A&M Saturday night.

The 6-foot-5, 295 pounder chose the Aggies over Utah and Miami.

“Well during my process, I’ve always heard great things about SEC football and how it’s a line of scrimmage game and arguably the best conference in NCAA football. I want to make sure I put myself in the best position possible to not just get to college but to get through it. Additionally, Texas A&M talks strongly about their network and how instead of my decision being a 4-year plan, it’d be a 40-year plan (Life After Football). So I felt like it was a decision that was made to be somewhat set for life after football.”

“Also, Texas A&M has been recruiting me since I was a Freshman and I’m just thankful they followed up on my recruitment. Lastly, the coaching staff is amazing. They all know how to work together and communicate through certain situations because they’re trying to achieve a common goal and so I respect that. I do believe that with Coach Addazio’s skill set, he has the talents to get me to where I want to be.”

The people around College Station played a role in Ahfua’s decision as well.

“A big reason that made an impact on my decision was college station itself, It ust felt like home, surrounded by great people that wanna see you succeed to the next level. And on top of that, I got one of my boys from high-school there. So stay tuned; it’s gonna be a movie.”

The Evergreen State interior offensive lineman joins coach Jimbo Fisher and the Aggies’ top 12 class in the 2024 team rankings. He is accompanied by five-star wide receiver Cam Coleman, four-star defensive lineman Dealyn Evans, and others.
