Texas A&M landed a massive win on the recruiting trail when Ramsey (N.J.) four-star interior offensive lineman Chase Bisontis committed to the Aggies. Bisontis’ decision elevated Texas A&M’s class to No. 37 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings. His pledge lifted Texas A&M’s 16 spots from No. 53. The Aggies’ group is also No. 9 in the SEC.

“I just felt like it was the best spot for me,” Bisontis told On3 about Texas A&M. “That was probably my favorite official. A lot of people speak about when you really feel that moment in your heart. On that official, I felt it.”

Bisontis is the No. 60 overall recruit and No. 4 interior offensive lineman in the 2023 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 1 player in New Jersey.

Bisontis provides a huge boost to Aggies’ 2023 recruiting class

Even though Texas A&M’s 2023 recruiting class has only six players, five of them are four-star recruits. Bisontis is the latest blue-chip prospect to commit to Jimbo Fisher and is the second-highest-ranked player in the group behind La Grange (Texas) four-star cornerback Bravion Rogers. He is ranked as the No. 49 overall prospect in the On3 Consensus.

The other four-stars in the Aggies’ class include Dallas South Oak Cliff cornerback Jayvon Thomas, Spring Branch (Texas) Smithson Valley interior offensive lineman Colton Thomasson and Katy (Texas) Paetow linebacker Daymion Sanford. Southlake (Texas) Carroll Senior three-star punter Tyler White is also a member of Texas A&M’s class.

Landing Bisontis gives the Aggies two of the nation’s top 25 interior offensive linemen in the New Jersey native and Thomasson.

There is a chance that Texas A&M’s class sees even more success in the near future. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Katy (Tex.) Paetow five-star defensive lineman David Hicks is favored to commit to the Aggies at 52.3%. The RPM also has Texas A&M trending for Denton (Texas) Ryan five-star linebacker Anthony Hill at 75.2%. Both Hicks and Hill are in the top 15 of the On3 Consensus.
