La Grange (Texas) four-star cornerback Bravion Rogers is back in the 2023 Texas A&M recruiting class.

The elite defensive back had previously been committed to the Aggies for a few months before decommitting in August. However, he announced Tuesday that he is re-joining the class.

With his commitment, Texas A&M jumped into the top 20 of the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking, slotting in at the No. 20 spot.

Rogers is the fifth top-100 recruit in the Aggies recruiting class, joining Denton (Texas) Ryan five-star linebacker Anthony Hill, Dallas South Oak Cliff four-star cornerback Jayvon Thomas, Ramsey (N.J.) Don Bosco Prep four-star interior offensive lineman Chase Bisontis and Shiner (Texas) four-star safety Dalton Brooks.

The other commits in the class are Spring Branch (Texas) Smithson Valley four-star interior offensive lineman Colton Thomasson, Katy (Texas) Paetow four-star linebacker Daymion Sanford, Philadelphia St. Frances Academy three-star offensive tackle Naquil Betrand, Humble (Texas) Atascocita three-star defensive lineman Samu Taumanupepe and Southlake (Texas) Carroll Senior three-star punter Tyler White.

Bravion Rogers is an elite cornerback

Bravion Rogers is the No. 43 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is the fifth-best cornerback in the class.

Rogers currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $170k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

He told On3 that he re-committed to the school because it felt like home.

“It just felt like home, and I would not want to go anywhere else really,” Rogers told On3. “I have a great relationship with coach Rushing and Jimbo (Fisher). They are just going to keep it real with you and they are cool guys to be around.”
