Loganville (Ga.) Grayson four-star tight end Kylan Fox kept coming back to UCF. So, he committed to the Knights. UCF beat out programs like Colorado, Florida State, Georgia Tech and others to land the No. 223 overall prospect in the On3 Industry rankings.

Fox felt good about UCF after the official visit. He held off on committing. He took his official visits to Georgia Tech and Florida State. After those visits, UCF was still at the top.

Fox felt UCF made him a major priority.

The Knights’ coaching staff showed Fox how important he was to the class of 2024 whenever they talked to him or saw him.

“It was the constant relationship that I had with the coaches,” Fox told On3. “Every time that I went on campus, it just felt like home. I knew Orlando was the place that I wanted to be…I had an idea after the official visit. I wanted to make sure that nobody could beat them over June. They were the ones that stood out.”

When Fox visited in March he felt the shift in where he was for the Knights.

“When I went up in March, I immediately became number one on their board,” Fox said. “It was like that all the way up until today. Their consistency really made them stand out from most programs.”

With adding Kylan Fox UCF continues its hot streak

Fox is the fourth four-star ranked prospect to commit to the Knights this summer. To open the month, UCF landed pledges from Fox’s teammate Waltclaire Flynn and four-star linebacker Qua Birdsong.

Four-star running back Stacy Gage committed to UCF back on June 10.

Fox feels the 2024 class can be special. Many of the group joining the class have built relationships and got the chance to bond back on ‘Bounce House weekend’ at the start of June.

“This class that we’re building is going to be one of the best ever,” Fox said. “I feel like in this cycle the coaches pushed hard to get good recruits because we’re going to the Big 12 so that they can have a chance to compete for a championship.”

Fox has already turned his attention to recruiting others. His eyes are on Georgia commit Jaylen Heyward, who took an official visit to UCF in June, four-star wide receiver Bredell Richardson, four-star tight end Tayvion Galloway, four-star offensive lineman Eddie Pierre-Louis and others.

“We also built a relationship when we were there and then there were guys that went the following week that just praised about how they loved it there, how the coaches treat them and made them a priority,” Fox said.
