Phoenix Mountain Pointe three-star safety Rylon Dillard-Allen is a rising star in the 2025 recruiting class.

He ranks No. 529 overall and No. 37 among safeties in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 4 prospect in Arizona.

But On3 rates Dillard-Allen significantly higher than the other major recruiting services. He ranks as a four-star prospect, No. 193 overall and No. 17 among safeties.

Dillard-Allen, On3’s top-ranked recruit in Arizona, visited UCLA this weekend and received an offer from the Bruins. He told On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons that the visit was “great” and that UCLA is a “top-five” school for him.

He told On3 that he plans to take an official visit to UCLA and that the campus and program’s scheme stood out.

If Dillard-Allen proceeds with scheduling that UCLA official visit, the Bruins will join official visits to Arizona State (April 19) and Nebraska (April 26).

In 2023, Arizona, Arizona State and Oregon got Dillard-Allen on campus for an unofficial visit. He told Simmons in November that he was still taking his time working through his recruitment.

“I would say early playing time and then location a little bit,” Dillard-Allen said were factors in his recruitment. “And obviously, NIL money is kind of involved, so obviously how much money you can get.”

More on UCLA recruiting

Bruins alum DeShaun Foster was promoted to the role of head coach this winter after former head coach Chip Kelly left for the offensive coordinator role at Ohio State. Foster’s staff currently holds one commitment in the 2025 cycle — San Juan Capistrano (Calif.) San Juan Hills three-star linebacker Weston Port.

In 2024, UCLA finished with just 10 commitments and ranked No. 70 in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. West Hills (Calif.) Sierra Canyon four-star wide receiver Kwazi Gilmer and Mission Viejo (Calif.) four-star offensive tackle Mark Schroller headlined the class as the lone blue-chips to choose UCLA.
