Baylor School (Tenn.) quarterback Whit Muschamp has committed to Vanderbilt, he announced on Saturday.

Muschamp, the son of Georgia co-defensive coordinator Will Muschamp, chose the Commodores over offers from Louisville, Ole Miss, Missouri, Cincinnati, Georgia Tech and more.

He is the No. 777 overall prospect in the 2024 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 50 quarterback and the No. 12 recruit in the state of Tennessee.

As a junior, he threw for 3,187 yards and 29 touchdowns. He was the orchestrator of an offense which averaged 39.7 points per game and never scored few than 31 in a contest.

Muschamp is the Commodores’ second quarterback commitment this cycle and third overall, joining three-star passer Jeremy St. Hilaire and EDGE Callahan Blair.

He has an On3 NIL Valuation of $18.1K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
