Purdue EDGE transfer Khordae Sydnor commits to Vanderbilt

Purdue EDGE Khordae Sydnor has committed to Vanderbilt out of the NCAA transfer portal, he announced on his Twitter account on Sunday evening.

Sydnor spent the past three years with the Boilermakers, where his impact varied from year to year.

He put together his best season in 2022, when he recorded 22 tackles, 6.5 tackles for a loss, 4.5 sacks and a pass defended. In total, Sydnor has logged 27 tackles, 9.0 tackles for a loss, 6.5 sacks, a pass defended and a blocked kick.

Prior to enrolling at Purdue, Khordae Sydnor was a three-star prospect and the No. 1,363 overall recruit in the 2021 recruiting class, according to the On3 Industry Rankings.

He also checked in as the No. 137 EDGE defender and the No. 6 overall player in the state of New York, hailing from New York (NY) Iona Preparatory School.
