Top 20 SG Kon Knueppel sets third official visit

Kon Knueppel is a four-star shooting guard ranked No. 18 in the updated 2024 On3 150. He will take an official visit to Virginia on February 10-12.

The 6-foot-5 prospect from Milwaukee (WI) Wisconsin Lutheran has already taken official visits to Stanford and Notre Dame during this process.

This summer, Knueppel averaged 21.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 3.7 assists on Nike’s EYBL 16u Circuit. He shot 51.9 percent from the field, 43.3 percent from three, and 80.8 percent from the free throw line.

Knueppel has reported other offers from the likes of Illinois, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Michigan State, Miami, Iowa, Marquette, and more.

In a previous interview with Kon Knueppel, he laid out what he was looking for in a school.

“One my biggest things, really my whole family’s biggest things, in this recruiting process is finding a place that keeps basketball fun,” Knueppel said. “Basketball is a sport; you must have fun while playing. At that level, things can get to be more of a job, but I want to go somewhere where it can stay fun and keep it competitive.”
