Sammamish (Wash.) Rainier Beach four-star cornerback Caleb Presley has been committed to Oregon since July 5. This weekend, he decided to take an official visit to Washington.

The trip marked Presley’s third to the Huskies and first since Sept. 17. He posted a video from his time in Seattle on Friday.

Presley is the No. 135 overall prospect and No. 14 cornerback in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 1 player in Washington.

The 5-foot-11, 165-pound defensive back is currently the third-highest-ranked commit in the Ducks’ 2023 recruiting class. He is also one of two cornerbacks pledged to head coach Dan Lanning and his staff.

Meanwhile, Washington has commitments from one cornerback. Lake Charles (La.) Lake Charles College Prep four-star cornerback Curley Reed is the top-ranked player in the Huskies’ 2023 recruiting class as the No. 203 overall prospect in the On3 Consensus.

Presley has an On3 NIL Valuation of $143K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Caleb Presley On3 Scouting Summary

The following is the On3 Scouting Summary is the On3 Scouting Summary for Caleb Presley:

“Two-way player that possesses natural ball skills at receiver and corner, while projecting on defense long-term. Smooth mover that has the ability to stick his foot in the ground and break on the ball with ease. Technical corner that has fluid movement skills. Looks comfortable and patient in coverage and does not play out of control. Has good length, with a 6-foot-4 wing-span at around 6-feet in height.

“Long speed appears strong but not elite. Ran an electronically-timed 4.62 40 in 2020 as a freshman. Shows more twitch and wiggle than long speed as a return man for kickoff and punt. Need to see him add some mass to a leaner athletic frame in order to reach his max potential at the next level.”
