WATCH: Aaron Rodgers shares explicit argument with Matt LaFleur after play call disagreement
The Green Bay Packers had their coach and star get into an argument after Aaron Rodgers disagreed with a play called by Matt LaFleur. The Packers were attempting to kill the clock and give the Cowboys less of a chance to score before the game went to overtime, and Rodgers threw a pass on third down that was incomplete.

Immediately after the play, as the punting unit ran onto the field, Rodgers was caught on camera shouting at his coach with an inappropriate word or two. Rodgers appeared to be upset with the decision to run a passing play instead of running the ball and forcing Dallas to use a timeout.
Dallas did receive the ball back without having to spend a timeout as a result of the play, but were unable to do any damage with little time remaining. The game’s regulation time ended with a 28-28 tie, setting up a thrilling finish to the NFC showdown that resulted in a Green Bay win off a game-winning field goal.
While Rodgers and his coach were letting tensions affect them on the sideline, running back Aaron Jones was having a fantastic night against Dallas. Jones finished a touchdown run with a move special to NFL fans, diving into the end zone with Marshawn Lynch‘s infamous pose. Jones turned around before diving backwards into the end zone grabbing his crotch with one hand — mimicking the finish of the legendary “Beastquake” run from the 2010 NFC Wildcard game between the Seahawks and Saints.
Jones continued his dominance against the Dallas defense in the second half, finishing his night with 24 carries for 138 yards. Not only was he continually effective in moving Green Bay down the field, it’s possible that the Packers run game directly affected a decision made by Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy that led to an overtime mistake.
