Ahead of their matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, the Carolina Panthers have their injury report available from Wednesday’s practice. Robby Anderson, Stephon Gilmore and CJ Henderson all are dealing with injury ahead of the final game this season.

Panthers injury report against the Buccaneers

Did Not Practice – Panthers: WR Robby Anderson(Quad), S Sean Chandler(Groin), CB Stephon Gilmore(Groin), DE Yetur Gross-Matos(Illness), WR Shi Smith(Illness)

While DJ Moore has been the primary receiving target for the Panthers this season, Anderson has been a good second option. With their season drawing to a close on Sunday, the health of Anderson will be something to watch before game day.

Stephon Gilmore played with Tampa Bay quarterback Tom Brady in New England where they played in two Super Bowl games together, winning it all in 2018. The next year, Gilmore was awarded the Associated Press NFL Defensive Player of the Year Award for his 2019 season with the Patriots. The veteran presence being available against his old quarterback would be a major boost to the Panthers this week if he’s ready to go.

Limited Participation – Panthers: CB CJ Henderson(Knee)

Adding to the Panthers’ concerns in the secondary this week is the injury Henderson is still dealing with. While he was available for limited practice on Wednesday, seeing if he’s fully recovered by Sunday will be worth watching as the week develops.

Did Not Practice – Buccaneers: OLB Shaquil Barrett(Knee), WR Antonio Brown(NIR-Personal), C Ryan Jensen(Shoulder), RB Ronald Jones(Ankle), OLB Jason Pierre-Paul(Shoulder), CB Rashard Robinson(Groin), WR Justin Watson(Quad)

Limited Participation – Buccaneers: WR Jaelon Darden(Illness), WR Mike Evans(Hamstring), CB Richard Sherman(Achilles)

Full Participation – Buccaneers: S Mike Edwards(Elbow), CB Sean Murphy-Bunting(Illness), P Bradley Pinion(Hip), LB Grant Stuard(Elbow), RB Ke’Shawn Vaughn(Ribs)

The Buccaneers have a massive list of players battling injury as of Wednesday, including star receiver Mike Evans. Evans is quickly becoming one of the few remaining weapons for Brady after the surprising departure of Antonio Brown this week.

Despite head coach Bruce Arians announcing after the game that Brown was no longer a member of the Buccaneers, he has not been officially released yet. As a result, he remains on the injury report until his release is final.
