The endorsements for Odell Beckham Jr. to join the Dallas Cowboys continued on Thursday. After Ezekiel Elliott and Micah Parsons announced their support for the move on Wednesday, wideout CeeDee Lamb and quarterback Dak Prescott had similar sentiments to share with the media.

“That’s my boy,” Lamb said, via the Athletic’s Jon Machota. “I’m a fan of Odell. Why wouldn’t you want to add more firepower to the offense? I feel like we had three No. 1 wide receivers my rookie year. Why not get back to that?”

The 2020 first-round pick appears to have no problem with adding another target into the mix. Prescott’s response was similarly supportive but also measured.

“Any time you have a chance to add a talent like that, and knowing Odell, knowing his resume, it’s exciting,” Prescott said. “But understanding it’s also a business and I’m sure there are 31 other teams that would like to add him as well.”

The Cowboys opted not to make a trade for a wide receiver before the deadline, partially due to the availability of the former New York Giant. According to ESPN’s Mike Garafolo, they will be in the mix for him when he’s ready to pick a team upon full recovery from his ACL tear.

Elliott, Parsons make public appeal to land Beckham

Dallas star running back Ezekiel Elliott couldn’t make it any more clear, “We want OBJ,” he told Jon Machota of The Athletic on Wednesday.

“We know what type of player Odell is. We know how explosive he can be and what he could bring to this offense. It would be great to get him down here in Dallas,” Elliott said. “… He would definitely fit in this locker room. We want OBJ.”

While Parsons is on the other side of the football, he recognizes the talent Beckham possesses.

“Shit, we could use him,” Parsons said. “I think he’s a great player. He’s a guy you want on your team, I think he’s a great dude. I think he could add good value to the team and help us do what we want to do.

“… I don’t feel obligated to do it, but if the guy is on the market, and he’s talking about he wants to play and he wants to win games, shit, me too. Come on. Come win games over here and help us get to that Bowl that you want. I want it.”
