The Dallas Cowboys injury report from Monday lists key players dealing with injury ahead of their short-week game against the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday. After playing on Sunday, both teams will meet on Thanksgiving Day for their next matchup. As the Cowboys did not have an actual practice on Monday, their injury report is a simulated report with player designations being an estimate.

Cowboys injury report versus Raiders

Did Not Practice – Cowboys: WR CeeDee Lamb(Concussion), S Donovan Wilson(Shoulder/Chest)

Lamb left the game Sunday as the first half ended after his helmet slammed into the field while a pass intended for him was intercepted. Lamb pivoted his body to try and disrupt the defender’s catch, and the impact on the field caused his helmet to bounce off the ground.

Lamb was assisted into the locker room after the play and was ruled out for the remainder of the game with a head injury. Dallas did not practice on Monday, but until Lamb clears concussion protocols he will not be available. The Cowboys said on Monday that Lamb was feeling good, and that they expect him to be ready to go for Thursday’s game.

Wilson also suffered an injury against the Kansas City Chiefs last week, as the Cowboys safety injured his shoulder and was listed as questionable to return to the game. Without any real time to recover from his injury on Monday, his designation as out from practice is not a surprise at this time.

Limited Participation – Cowboys: RB Ezekiel Elliott(Knee), T Tyron Smith(Ankle)

Elliott continues his streak on the Cowboys’ injury reports after aggravating his existing knee injury against the Chiefs. On a short passing route, Elliott was wrapped up and tackled in routine fashion. Unfortunately, the defenders’ weight came down directly on Elliott’s right ankle and further twisted his already injured knee. Elliott limped off the field after the play, but returned on the next offensive drive.

Tyron Smith’s health continues to be worth watching as he was limited in practice again with an ankle injury. The Cowboys’ offensive line has battled injuries and the suspension of La’el Collins all season long, but found stability behind solid backup play and flexible players filling in where needed.

The Cowboys are optimistic that Smith will return this Thursday, but the star tackle has not played since Week 8 against the Minnesota Vikings.

Full Participation – Cowboys: DT Trysten Hill(Foot), WR Cedrick Wilson(Shoulder), CB Nahshon Wright(Hamstring)

Wilson’s impact on the Cowboys’ receiving unit was welcome last week as Amari Cooper continues to miss game time after a positive COVID-19 test. Adding to Dallas’ struggles was the head injury Lamb suffered on Sunday as well. With Michael Gallup’s return, the Cowboys might have enough depth to compete in the passing game if their top two receivers are unavailable.

Hill and Wright are both expected to be ready for Thursday’s game as well, but without an actual practice it will be worth watching throughout the rest of their short week.
