Dallas Cowboys release Friday injury report ahead of Week 5 game vs LA Rams
Dak Prescott will have to wait to make his return to the Dallas Cowboys. He was the only player the Cowboys ruled out on their final injury report ahead of Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams.
A notable addition to the injury report was Tony Pollard, who missed Friday’s practice with an illness and is now questionable after participating in full on Wednesday and Thursday. Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb is also questionable after showing up on Thursday’s injury report with a groin injury. Lamb was limited Friday after missing Thursday’s practice.
The Cowboys and Rams are gearing up to square off Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET.

Cowboys final injury report vs Los Angeles Rams
Out — QB Dak Prescott (thumb)
After teasing a potential return against the Rams — four weeks after he suffered a thumb injury — Prescott will miss the game. He’s still working his way back from the surgery, but Cowboys owner Jerry Jones expressed some optimism about his star quarterback’s chances of returning sooner than later.
Doubtful — T Jason Peters (chest)
Peters, the veteran offensive lineman, was a new addition to the injury report with a chest injury and practiced in a limited capacity on Friday. He’s doubtful for Sunday’s game, which would add to the woes Dallas has had at offensive line this year.
Questionable — DT Quinton Bohanna (neck/shoulder), TE Jake Ferguson (knee), WR CeeDee Lamb (groin), CB Jourdan Lewis (groin), RB Tony Pollard (illness)
Lamb and Pollard are the two biggest names to come in as questionable. Lamb is the Cowboys’ leading receiver this year with 288 yards while Pollard sits second on the team with 162 rushing yards, just behind Ezekiel Elliott. That could be something to monitor in the run-up to game time when inactives come out.
No injury designation — WR Noah Brown (neck), S Malik Hooker (thumb), S Jayron Kearse (knee), G Connor McGovern (ankle), TE Dalton Schultz (knee), S Donovan Wilson (ankle)
Brown and Schultz appear to be full goes for Sunday’s game, meaning Cooper Rush will still have some weapons at his disposal. Additionally, Kearse can provide a spark on defense against Cooper Kupp, Matthew Stafford and the Rams offense.
