The Dallas Cowboys released their first injury report of the week on Wednesday ahead of a Week 5 matchup with the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. Although it has already been reported that the Cowboys plan to sit quarterback Dak Prescott for the fourth straight week, one other key contributor appears as if he could make his return.

Like Prescott, starting safety Jayron Kearse has not played since the season opener when he suffered a knee injury. However, Kearse started off this week with a full practice. It will be worth monitoring what he does over the next couple of days, but that seems to bode well for his Sunday status.

The Cowboys (3-1) are on a three-game winning streak, and will kick off against the Rams (2-2) at 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. You can view the full Wednesday injury report below.

Did not practice — QB Dak Prescott (thumb), TE Jake Ferguson (knee), CB Jourdan Lewis (groin)

When Prescott injured his thumb in Week 1, the initial report was that he would miss between 6-8 weeks. That would put his earliest date of return at Week 7, though he could be held until Week 9 as well. Lewis, who suffered a groin injury in pregame warmups last week, and Ferguson are new additions to the injury report.

Limited participants — DT Quinton Bohanna (neck/shoulder), S Donovan Wilson (ankle)

It’s certainly good news good news to see Bohanna log a limited practice after he left Sunday’s game against Washington with a shoulder injury. Wilson is also a new addition to the injury report. He has been a key member of the defense with Kearse out, recording 33 tackles, one sack, one interception and a safety through four games.

Full participants — WR Noah Brown (neck), S Malik Hooker (thumb), S Jayron Kearse (knee), G Connor McGovern (ankle), TE Dalton Schultz (knee)

As mentioned above, Kearse is the biggest news out of this group after missing the past three games. However, Cowboys fans will also likely be pleased to see Brown as a full participant after he suffered a neck injury Sunday. Schultz returned from a PCL injury last week, but did not record a catch on three targets.
