Baltimore wide receiver Demarcus Robinson has been known to be one of the speedier and more explosive wideouts during his time in the National Football League. On Sunday evening, he absolutely flame-roasted Eli Apple, as he burned by him down the left sideline. Robinson was left wide open down the left sideline and caught the pass about five yards away from Apple.

Check out the play here.

It was a beautifully thrown pass by Tyler “Snoop” Huntley. Robinson’s crucial touchdown catch tied the game at 17-17 and the Ravens have been hanging in there with the Cincinnati Bengals. It’s been an impressive performance, considering their starting quarterback, Lamar Jackson, has been sidelined dealing with his PCL injury. Huntley has already rushed for 48 yards on seven carries. He’s also added 179 passing yards and two touchdowns in the air, while throwing one interception.

In the fourth quarter, Snoop Huntley nearly scored a touchdown, when he tried to hurdle the line of scrimmage and extend the football over the goal line on a quarterback sneak. However, the ball clearly got knocked loose before it crossed the plane, and Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Sam Hubbard recovered the fumble and returned it 98-yards for a touchdown. It was a 14-point swing that completely changed the complexion of Sunday’s Wild Card matchup.

This season, Robinson has hauled in 48 catches for 458 receiving yards and two touchdowns for the Ravens. In the 2022 preseason, he hauled in a 67-yard touchdown catch against the Washington Commanders.

Robinson was a fourth-round selection by Kansas City taken back in the 2016 NFL Draft. He has spent most of his NFL career with the Chiefs and he’s been utilized as a wide receiver and return specialist. Before joining the Ravens, Robinson had a very brief stint with the Las Vegas Raiders this off-season, before being released during their initial round of cuts in fall camp.

During his six-year stay in Kansas City, he has played in 97 games, starting in 42 of those, hauling in 145 catches for 1,679 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns. For his entire career with the Florida Gators in college, Robinson hauled in 107 catches for 1,375 receiving yards and nine touchdowns.
