The Denver Broncos just potentially lost one of their biggest stars. Linebacker Von Miller, one of the best pass rushers in the NFL, is questionable to return to the Thursday Night Football game against the Cleveland Browns with an ankle injury, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

He suffered the injury on a hit from his own teammate as he was trying to get to Cleveland quarterback Case Keenum. His ankle was stepped on and rolled.

Miller was able to walk off the field with trainers after he was injured with 47 seconds remaining in the first half. He’s currently getting X-rays on the injury, according to NFL Network.

If he has to miss time, of course the injury would be massive for the Broncos defense as he’s one of the best pass rushers in the National Football League.

So far this season, Miller has already racked up 4.5 sacks. The former Texas A&M standout has also racked up 17 tackles thus far this season. Miller will likely find himself in the Hall-of-Fame once he hangs up his cleats. He’s racked up over 110 sacks and over 500 tackles during his highly decorated NFL career.

The future Hall of Famer was a critical part of leading the Denver Broncos to a 24-10 Super Bowl win over the Carolina Panthers in 2016. Miller was named the Super Bowl MVP after he dominated the game, racking up 2.5 sacks, two of which were game-changing strip sacks.

The Broncos are already dealing with a number of injuries and starting quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has struggled while playing injured against the Browns. Bridgewater was dealing with a foot injury earlier this week as well as a quad injury, according to ProFootballTalk.

Denver already lost K.J. Hamler for the season

Denver has already lost speedy receiver K.J. Hamler for the season, after he tore his ACL on Sept. 26.

Hamler went down awkwardly on his left knee in the Denver Broncos’ 26-0 win over the New York Jets. After Teddy Bridgewater floated a high pass in his direction, Hamler leapt up, hoping to come down with the ball over nearby Jets defensive backs, and he was unable to stick the landing. His knee appeared to buckle on his way down in what was a scary non-contact injury, one that looked gruesome enough that the television broadcast did not show a replay.
