In the madness that was the Odell Beckham Jr. free agency drama, an off the field incident did occur with the wide receiver. He was removed from a plane at Miami International Airport this November and adding to the saga.

New video has now emerged on the incident, with police and firemen being involved. Beckham was reportedly in and out of consciousness while not complying with the seatbelt policy. A bizarre situation for anyone but especially an NFL player.

Beckham was eventually asked to get off the plane by officials but did not comply. Eventually the captain moved back to the gate, where the entire plane was asked to deboard. Beckham was the last one off and escorted out of the terminal.

No fear, though. Once Beckham was off the aircraft, passengers got to take off — even if it was two hours later.

You can watch the full video here.

Beckham was flying from Miami to Los Angeles and somehow, someway made it to his destination. He was not allowed back on an American Airlines flight. To this point, no further details have been provided but the video adds wild context to the situation.

Odell Beckham Jr. unlikely to play for NFL team this season

For some time, Beckham was THE story in the NFL, with a few teams lining up to sign him as a midseason free agent. Dallas was the most discussed location, both from the outside and inside. Everyone involved with the Cowboys seemingly wanted Beckham to sign but nothing ever came of it.

Beckham is still recovering from an ACL tear suffered during the Super Bowl in February. He was not expected to be fully healthy until the playoffs began, not giving any team enough time to incorporate him into the system.

Once fully healthy, Beckham is expected to be a top name in the free agent pool this offseason — plane incident or no plane incident.
