The Green Bay Packers waived wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown on Tuesday, according to a report from NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

The NFL requires all teams to provide a final list of cuts by Tuesday’s 4:00 p.m. ET deadline for 53-man rosters, and St. Brown is the latest to be waived by Green Bay. On the offensive side, the Packers also moved on from quarterback Kurt Benkert, running backs Patrick Taylor and Dexter Williams, wide receiver Reggie Begelton, and offensive linemen Jason Capra and Ben Braden. Defensively, they cut cornerbacks Stephen Denmark, Rojesterman Farris, and Kabion Ento, safety Christian Uphoff and linebacker Tipa Galeai.

St. Brown was drafted by the Packers in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft with the 207th overall pick. He was entering the final season of his four-year rookie contract, worth $2.6 million in full.

St. Brown was a frequent contributor on the Packers’ special teams unit, and he often appeared on the stat sheet after reeling in long receptions. In just his fifth professional game, St. Brown in 2018 reeled in his first three NFL catches, totaling 89 yards with a long of 54 yards.

In his rookie year, he played in 12 games while starting seven, catching 21 passes for 328 yards — averaging a whopping 15.6 yards per catch. However, in 2019, St. Brown suffered a serious high ankle sprain in a preseason contest with the Las Vegas Raiders, which ultimately moved him to the injured reserve and ended his season before it began. Last season, St. Brown had seven catches for 117 yards and a touchdown, starting just one of 12 games in which he appeared.

Of his 28 career receptions with the Packers, 19 have picked up first downs and 17 have been for 15-plus yards. St. Brown has totaled 445 yards and a touchdown on 28 receptions in his two healthy seasons.

A native of Anaheim, California, St. Brown was ranked a four-star prospect by most outlets and was one of the top-25 wide receiver recruits in the country. He committed to Notre Dame in 2015, where he would go on to play three seasons. Although he spent the majority of his freshman season as a special teams contributor, St. Brown burst onto the scene as a sophomore in 2016. He led the Notre Dame Fighting Irish receiving corp with 58 catches, 971 yards and nine touchdowns — each of which ranked as the third-most in program history by a sophomore.

St. Brown finished his collegiate career at Notre Dame with 92 receptions for 1,484 yards and 13 touchdowns.
