NC State set to host 5-star PF Toni Bryant for unofficial visit

Even though NC State coach Will Wade and his staff are focused on building a roster for the upcoming season, the Wolfpack has started to recruit in the upcoming 2026 cycle. Now, after a flurry of transfer portal pickups, the Pack is set to host one of the top players in the nation. 

NC State will have North Tampa (Fla.) Christian Academy 2026 five-star power forward Toni Bryant on campus for an unofficial visit on Sunday in Raleigh, he confirmed to TheWolfpacker.com.

The nation’s No. 13 overall recruit in the 2026 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, has taken official visits to both Boston College and Cal during his recruiting process. He has also been on several campuses unofficially, including Florida and Florida State. 

Bryant, who is the No. 2 power forward in the cycle, holds more than 30 offers from programs around the country, including Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Houston, Tennessee, Kansas, Texas and UNC among others. 

The 6-foot-9, 180-pound forward averaged 21.0 points with 11.8 rebounds and 6.5 blocks in 27 games as a junior. Bryant has been a rim protector for his entire high school career, totaling 677 blocks (7.3) a game, while he is a capable scorer and rebounder as he as averaged a double-double since his freshman year.

As he goes through the recruiting process, Bryant does know what he wants in a school.

“The biggest thing for me is going to be family,” Bryant previously told On3. “I want to come somewhere that feels like a family and where I know is going to push me to be the best. I want to play for a coach who wants the best for me, personally. I’m trying to get to the next level, so I want to play for a coach that is going to be hard on me.

”I want to play for a coaching staff that is going to push me to be the best version of myself. I want to win. I’m a winner, my coach is a winner, my team is full of winners. So when I go to the next level, I’m going to do what my coach wants me to do to win.”

Now, Wade and the rest of the Wolfpack’s staff have an opportunity to impress him in Raleigh as they begin to build out their 2026 recruiting board.
