With eight different NFL teams currently searching for their next head coaches, there’s a good chance that Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy could be losing both of his coordinators.

According to Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News, Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn and offensive coordinator Kellen Moore are both scheduled to interview for the Denver Broncos’ head coaching position on Tuesday.

Quinn, 51, just finished his first season as the Cowboys’ defensive coordinator. Prior to his time in Dallas, Quinn served as the Atlanta Falcons’ head coach from 2015-2020 – compiling a 43-42 overall record with one NFC championship.

Moore, 33, has been the offensive coordinator in Dallas since 2019 after spending the 2018 season as the team’s quarterbacks coach. A former quarterback, Moore played for the Cowboys from 2015-17 after being with the Detroit Lions from 2012-14.

Along with the Denver Broncos’ opening, the Jacksonville Jaguars, Minnesota Vikings, Chicago Bears, Miami Dolphins, New York Giants, Houston Texans and Las Vegas Raiders are all on the hunt for new head coaches.

WATCH: Jerry Jones addresses Cowboys playoff window following playoff loss

After a 12-5 finish to the regular season, an NFC East crown and the first NFL Playoff berth since 2018, the Dallas Cowboys were bounced in the first round by the San Francisco 49ers, behind some poor late-game clock management and a failed attempt at a game-winning touchdown drive.

As for where the Cowboys go from here — is their playoff window just beginning, or could they begin a descent in the years to come? According to owner and general manager Jerry Jones, the Cowboys are just getting started, as he believes he has one of the most talented rosters in the NFL.

“I think this is a time when you get this combination of players together you need to have success,” Jones said after the loss. “Because we all know how it goes in the NFL. The whole thing is set up to take away from the best and add to the ones that need improvement. And personnel wise, I think we have one of the best.”
