Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry is one of the most unstoppable forces in the National Football League. Standing at an imposing 6-foot-3, 250-pounds, Henry routinely stiff arms defenders in the open field with ease. He’s a man that plenty of elite defenders have trouble tackling for obvious reasons. He’s ridiculously fast for a player his size. On Sunday against the Tennessee Titans, former Georgia linebacker Tae Crowder gave Henry a dose of the punishment that he’s dished out to defenders over the years. Crowder leveled Henry with a hit that sent the former Alabama tailback flying, something rarely seen.

What a hit by Crowder! That’s the way to make your name remembered for a really, really long time. That’s how you lower the boom and set the tone for your teammates.

It’s safe to say that Derrick Henry won’t forget that hit anytime soon. The Giants were able to bottle up Henry on Sunday, limiting him to 82 rushing yards on 21 carries.

Crowder was selected by the New York Giants with the final pick of the 2020 NFL Draft. In 2020, he racked up 57 tackles and one sack in his rookie campaign. In 2021, he racked up 130 tackles and one forced fumble, showing that he’s one of the best tacklers in the league. The former Georgia star also snatched two interceptions.

The Giants pulled off a heart-stopping 21-20 victory over the Titans on Sunday and much of it was thanks to the playmaking ability of their superstar running back, Saquon Barkley. On the ground, he racked up 164 rushing yards on 18 carries and a touchdown. As a receiver, he hauled in six catches for 30 receiving yards.

Titans’ kicker Randy Bullock also missed a potential game-winning 47-yard field goal as time expired.
