WATCH: Tom Brady taunts Josh Allen with golf ball featuring Lombardi Trophy
Tom Brady is taking on Josh Allen in Capital One’s The Match on Wednesday evening. They’re facing off in Las Vegas, Nevada on the stunningly beautiful golf course at The Wynn Las Vegas. Before the match, Josh Allen brought his fair share of trash talk to the course, he had a golf ball featuring Tom Brady’s picture from the combine many years ago. Brady wasn’t having it and brought his own special golf ball to counter. He had a golf ball featuring the Lombardi Trophy and asked Allen if he’d seen one.

If you need a reminder, Josh Allen came painstakingly close to getting to a Super Bowl last season with the Buffalo Bills. The Chiefs and Bills put on one of the best games in NFL playoff history last season, only to have the game decided by a coin toss. The Chiefs won 42-36, but many observers came away from watching that game saying it was one of the best football games they’d ever seen.
The Bills appear to be poised for yet another deep playoff run this season, so it’ll be interesting to see if Allen can get a Super Bowl trophy of his own. Everybody knows that Tom Brady has countless Super Bowl trophies and he’s one of the most flawless football players ever to live, so clearly he can talk all the trash he wants. Capitol One’s The Match is a great way to give football fans and golf fans alike a different perspective of these athletes and to allow them to take in the sights of a really beautiful golf course in the process.
Tom Brady is playing with Aaron Rodgers on one team and Josh Allen is playing with Patrick Mahomes II. Through 4 holes, Brady and Rodgers currently lead Allen and Mahomes by 1. It should be a really fun and exciting show for the rest of the evening!
