After their 12-5 regular season and No. 1 overall playoff seed in the NFC, the Green Bay Packers are entering a potential rebuilding situation with the reported trade scenario of franchise quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

On top of that, three of their biggest stars are set to enter free agency during the offseason.

1. Davante Adams, WR

2021 team: Green Bay Packers | Age entering 2022 season: 29

Adams will have his pick of the litter if he finds himself on the open market. He’s one of the top two or three wide receivers in the league and is now a veteran with eight years under his belt, yet he’s still at an age where he can compile several more elite-level years during his career.

In the past two seasons, Adams has led the NFL in receptions (238), touchdown catches (29) and is second in receiving yards (2,927). With that said, it is also reasonable to expect that Adams will strongly favor staying with Rodgers next season, whether that be in Green Bay, Denver, or wherever he ends up, which could be anywhere he wants barring a franchise tag from the Packers.

35. Rasul Douglas, CB

2021 team: Green Bay Packers | Age entering 2022 season: 28

Douglas has come a long way from the Cardinals’ practice squad. He quickly joined the Packers’ starting lineup and he proved to be quite a ball-hawking member of the secondary with five interceptions and 13 passes defended this past season.

His two defensive touchdowns tied for second-most in the NFL as well. Every team had a chance to sign him this season while in Arizona, but Douglas showed that if placed in the right system, there’s no reason he wouldn’t have several more years of productive play ahead of him wherever he lands.

43. De’Vondre Campbell, ILB

2021 team: Green Bay Packers | Age entering 2022 season: 29

Campbell, described as an aging journeyman linebacker, produced one of the NFL’s most surprising performances of 2021.

He was a starter for five seasons for the Falcons and Cardinals and last offseason, Campbell signed a one-year deal with the Packers and was named to the All-Pro team after making 146 tackles and holding together an injury-plagued Green Bay defense. While he isn’t the most prolific pass-rusher testing the waters this offseason, Campbell proved how important he can be to a defense and why he deserves a sizable contract with whatever team signs him.
