Updated Super Bowl LVI odds, NFC and AFC championship odds
The NFL’s Wild Card round is in the books. Now, the oddsmakers have updated each team’s Super Bowl and respective conference championship odds.
The Green Bay Packers are the favorite to win this year’s Super Bowl, closely followed by the Kansas City Chiefs. Green Bay had a first-round bye and Kansas City flew past the Pittsburgh Steelers 42-21.
The Buffalo Bills and Tampa Bay Buccaneers — who both had resounding blowout victories this weekend — have the third-best odds. Buffalo rolled past the New England Patriots 47-17 and Tampa Bay defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 31-15.
The Los Angeles Rams, Tennessee Titans, San Francisco 49ers and Cincinnati Bengals bring up the last four spots. Los Angeles handled the Arizona Cardinals with ease in a 34-11, but San Francisco and Cincinnati played two closer games.

NFL provides update on Super Bowl LVI location
Recently, CBS postponed the Grammy Awards due to health and safety concerns. That brought questions about the Super Bowl, which is to be at SoFi Stadium in February.
The NFL has a contingency plan in place, but as of now, the game will still be played at SoFi in Inglewood, California. Katie Keenan, the NFL’s Senior Director of Event Operations, said the game will be played as scheduled on Feb. 13.
“All of our plans for Super Bowl week remain fully in place for a month from today,” Keenan said, via Greg Beacham of the Associated Press. “We’re working along with everyone here, with the L.A. County Health Department, to make sure all of our events are being held safely.”
Several California Universities have recently limited fan attendance at their indoor sporting events due to the recent omicron surge. UCLA played its game against Oregon without fans.
The Chargers and Rams haven’t had any restrictions this season. The Rams had a crowd of 74,447 people on Sunday night and had full attendance for their Wild Card matchup with the Cardinals on Monday night.
SoFi Stadium just opened up two years ago. It has a unique design, including a translucent roof and airflow from the open ends of the bowl. Normally, the stadium seats 70,420 people. It can be expanded greatly for major events, including the Super Bowl, to seat up to 100,240.
