Last night, the Cleveland Browns finally let Baker Mayfield get some preseason reps. Evidently, the former Oklahoma quarterback made the most of his opportunity.

Check out this beautiful touchdown throw he made.

Picture-perfect. Mayfield drops the football right into the hands of his wide receiver, KhaDarel Hodge.

The wide receiver is battling to make the roster, and catches like that will help him. However, Mayfield gets the assist for the beautiful pass.

The Browns are expected to be contenders in 2021, and a lot of that hinges on the shoulders of Mayfield. Last season, he was one of the most efficient quarterbacks in the entire league.

In 2020, Mayfield passed for 26 touchdowns, while throwing just eight interceptions. Additionally, his team won eleven games, easily the most Cleveland has won in over a decade.

While Mayfield established himself as the team’s franchise quarterback last season, we’ll see if the Browns can reach new heights with him at the helm in 2021.

Baker Mayfield and the Cleveland Browns Highlight Reel

While Baker Mayfield is showing off his stuff during the game, one of his favorite targets is stealing the spotlight pregame. As he works his way back from injury, Odell Beckham Jr. is still a human highlight reel.

During pregame of the Browns’ final preseason game, the former LSU wide receiver showed off why he’s still one of the best shows in the entire league.

It’s his trademark. The silky-smooth one handed catches is something Beckham Jr. popularized following his legendary touchdown while with the New York Giants.

While wide receivers have made one handed catches before, nobody does it with as much swagger as one of Mayfield’s favorite targets.

Throughout his career, Beckham Jr’s pregame routine has become sort of legendary. Similar to an Aaron Judge batting practice, fans show up to the stadium early to watch the Browns wide receiver show off his abilities.

While Beckham Jr.’s superstar ability is on display, the statistics haven’t backed him up in years. However, another year to grow with Mayfield could be just what the duo needs.
