Zamir White believes he can ascend to become one of the top running backs in the entire NFL.

The former Georgia star proved his worth time and time again in Athens, but he’ll have to do it all over again in the NFL with the Raiders. Speaking with the media following being drafted by Las Vegas, White revealed which NFL running backs he believes he runs like.

“I’d say like a [Nick] Chubb, or a [Leonard] Fournette. That type of guy,” responded White.

Evidently, White isn’t short on confidence — Chubb and Fournette have elevated into two of the best in the entire league over their time in the NFL. White has big shoes to fill if he’s to catch them, but there’s no reason to think the bruising running back won’t be able to.

In his three seasons with the Bulldogs, White accumulated 2,043 rushing yards and 25 touchdowns. Last season, White realized his dream of bringing a championship to Georgia, helping to end a drought that spanned over 40 years when the Bulldogs defeated Alabama in the 2022 College Football Playoff National Championship Game. Additionally, White scored the first touchdown for Georgia in the aforementioned title victory, leading the Bulldogs in rushing, as well.

The future is bright for Zamir White in Las Vegas, and the former Georgia running back isn’t boxing himself in.

Moreover, the Las Vegas Raiders are banking on Georgia product Zamir White to come in and transform their running back room. After playing a huge role throughout his time in Athens, the former bruising Bulldogs ball carrier will be expected to do the same in his NFL career. That’s why the Raiders took him off the board early in the 2022 NFL Draft on Thursday night, picking him No. 122 overall.

As early as next season, White has the potential to become a formidable running back in the entire NFL. He was dominant at times at Georgia, and many believe he’s just scratching the surface of his potential.
