Aaron Rodgers took shots at ESPN Senior Vice President of Production Mike Foss during Tuesday’s edition of the Pat McAfee Show.

Everyone tuned in to hear Rodgers’ response to the Jimmy Kimmel beef, which had its own elaborate answer. However, Rodgers used part of the rant to talk about Foss, who apologized on behalf of ESPN for Rodgers’ comments towards the ABC host.

Simply put, Rodgers said to Foss: “you’re not helping.”

“I don’t understand Mike Foss’ comment because he didn’t help out either,” Rodgers said Tuesday. “And I’m going to quote Mike Foss. He said ‘Aaron made a dumb and factually incorrect joke about Jimmy Kimmel. It should never have happened. We all realize that in the moment.’ Mike, you’re not helping. You’re not helping because I just read earlier exactly what I said. So this is the game plan of the media. And this is what they do. They try and cancel. It’s not just me …

“If you look at all the different people who’ve been censored from the internet especially during COVID, the canceling that went on, the censorship, using the government to try and censor people that happened. And if that doesn’t work, then they do a name call and I mentioned a lot of the names that I’ve been called. And they don’t stick because I’m not anti-vax. I’m interested in informed consent and things that are in the best interest of my body.”

Rodgers went on to list more of what he was called incorrectly amid his rant about Foss.

“I’m not a MAGA, I’ve never had any affiliation with anybody associated with that movement,” Rodgers said. “Which is okay if you are though, like there’s different opinions all over the place, right … I’m not a super political person. Okay, do whatever you want. Conspiracy theorists, that’s fine. Because if you look at the track record of conspiracy theorists in the last few years, they’ve been right about a lot of things.

“Anti-Semite? They use these words to cancel people. And they went and ran with this because it’s the crazy anti-vaxxer wacko again, talking about, you know, accusing somebody of being a pedophile. Like, of course, this is the game plan that they use. But that’s the environment that we’re in.”

Get all that? What Rodgers said directly about Kimmel didn’t directly call him anything. But the quarterback certainly pontificated and made people think or assume something one way or the other.

Either way, the beef doesn’t seem squashed but it might go away for a bit. As of now, Rodgers and Foss might have more words for each other should the opportunity present itself.
