WATCH: Andrew Wiggins throws down crazy dunk over Luka Doncic
Former Kansas star and Golden State Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins has put up an impressive performance in the NBA playoffs, but topped all his other work with a poster dunk over Luka Doncic on Sunday night. After the basket was initially taken away by an offensive foul call, a challenge overturned the play and counted the two points.
After catching the ball on the wing, Andrew Wiggins drove toward the middle and saw a lane to the rim for the dunk. On his way past his defender, Doncic stepped over to help but ultimately side-stepped as they moved closer. Wiggins took advantage of the space by jumping through the glancing contact with his arm extended for a huge slam.
The basket helped Wiggins reach a double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds late in the fourth quarter with a double-digit lead over the Mavericks. The Warriors are now on their way to taking a 3-0 series lead with a chance to sweep on the road in Dallas this week.
