Antonio Brown seems to be a fan of Ja’Marr Chase‘s “Mt. Rushmore” of NFL wide receivers. And for pretty good reason.

In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, the Cincinnati Bengals star was asked to provide his “Mt. Rushmore” of all-time NFL receivers. There were a lot of recent names to make the list.

Brown made the cut, along with Calvin Johnson, Cooper Kupp and Jerry Rice. That’s a pretty good list. But Chase did leave off one former Bengals star, Chad Johnson (Ochocinco).

“I’d have Ocho in there too if I could. There’s only four,” Chase said.

After seeing Chase’s Mt. Rushmore of NFL receivers, Brown issued this response on social media:

Brown spent 12 years in the NFL, a majority of which was spent with the Pittsburgh Steelers (2010-18). He also played for the New England Patriots (2019) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2020-21).

During his time in the league, Brown was a seven-time Pro Bowl selection and won Super Bowl LV with the Bucs. He was a two-time NFL receiving yards leader (2014, 2017) and a two-time receptions leader (2014-15). He also led the league in touchdown catches in 2018.

Brown ended his career with 928 receptions for 12,291 yards and 83 touchdowns. He also piled up 2,934 yards in the return game, scoring five more times.

Since his departure from the NFL, Brown has faced numerous legal issues.

Ja’Marr Chase names NFL’s top current players

Chase’s had a different interview with Stacking the Box in which the former LSU star also talked about some of the league’s top current talent. He provided a list of the top-five players right now.

Chase considers himself and teammate and quarterback Joe Burrow to be two of the top players in the NFL right now. He also had some other interesting mentions.

“Let’s just put my QB up there. Got myself in there. Aaron Donald,” he said. “I’ll take (Travis) Kelce. Kelce’s one of the best tight ends in the league, and he shows it.

“Who else? We’ll put Pat (Mahomes) in there. We’ll juice it up a little.”

So, Chase included two offensive players from Cincinnati, two offensive players from Kansas City and Aaron Donald. But, to be fair, that’s a pretty solid list.

Do you agree with Chase’s Mt. Rushmore of wide receivers and his top-five list of current NFL players? Who else should have been included?
