New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick weighed in on the hottest topic in NFL and pop culture news after his team’s first win of the season on Sunday. The six-time Super Bowl winner joined The Greg Hill Show on Monday morning where the hosts asked for his thoughts on Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce dating 12-time Grammy Award-winning artist Taylor Swift.

“Well, I would say that Travis Kelce… Kelce’s had a lot of big catches in his career,” Belichick said. “This would be the biggest.”

Swift joined Donna Kelce, Travis’s mother, in a suite at Arrowhead on Sunday for the Chiefs’ drubbing of the Chicago Bears. During the game, the star tight end caught a touchdown, leading to some exuberant celebration from the singer-songwriter.

The Patriots head coach has previously proclaimed his admiration for the pop icon after seeing her perform at Gillette Stadium in August.

“That was pretty impressive,” Belichick said on The Greg Hill Show last month. “She is tough, man. She just stood out there and played right through [the rain].”

Belichick even offered up a title for one of his favorite Swift songs.

“I’m definitely on the, ‘You’ve Got to Calm Down.’ That’s pretty good like, you’ve got to calm down. There’s a lot of times when that’s very appropriate. You’ve got to calm down.”

After the game on Sunday, cameras captured Kelce and Swift leaving the stadium together. The Chiefs star was back in his pre-game outfit, which Taylor fans were quick to point out took its inspiration from Swift’s ‘1989’ album.

Jason Kelce spills beans on Travis-Taylor rumors

Jason Kelce fanned the flames of the rumors during a number of interviews last week. Travis went on to poke fun at his brother for his attention-seeking behavior.

“He’s had a whole lot of fun since then and he’s still having fun and then not even a week later tell everybody that it’s 100% true. I mean, the guy is absolutely ridiculous,” Kelce said, grinning. “He can’t stay out of the freaking headlines. He was on the show yesterday saying — not that he wants to be but the fact that everyone thinks he’s Ian Rapoport of my dating relationship. Please everyone stop asking my brother about my dating life.”

Travis Kelce then went on the Pat McAfee Show on Thursday and explained how he invited Swift to see him “rock” Arrowhead.

“Nah, I mean it’s like, I threw it out there. I threw the ball in her court. I told her, ‘I’ve seen you rock the stadium in Arrowhead. You might have to come see me rock the stadium in Arrowhead and see which one is a little more lit.’ So we’ll see what happens in the near future,” Kelce said, referencing his attempt to give Swift his phone number after a concert at Arrowhead Stadium over the summer.
