During the whirlwind of NASCAR production days, Brad Keselowski had a chance to talk about a few other drivers. Opening up a pack of cards for Panini America, Keselowski came across a number of familiar faces.

Among those drivers were Dale Jr., Denny Hamlin, Justin Haley, and in particular, Corey Heim. The cards that Keselowski decided were worth holding onto were his pair of Dale Jr. cards, his Ryan Blaney 2023 Champion card, as well as his card featuring Heim Time himself.

Not only that, Keselowski commented “Corey Heim, up and coming superstar. That one I would put in the corner, that one’s going to be worth something.”

Check out the video below with Keselowski feeling like a kid again as he opens up this pack of cards.

Corey Heim has been an exceptional talent in the Craftsman Truck Series. He won the Rookie of the Year award in the series back in 2022 after winning two races in what wasn’t even a full-time season with Kyle Busch Motorsports.

This season, Heim won three races and won the regular season championship. He was a strong contender to win the championship until he got into all that mess with Carson Hocevar in Phoenix. That race is the biggest knock on Heim, really.

Heim will also get some Xfinity Series starts with Sam Hunt Racing in 2024. Is Brad Keselowski right about Heim’s potential?

Brad Keselowski has his eyes on IMSA

This year, RFK Racing is adding the Stage 60 car, expanding their superspeedway and road course efforts to three cars this season. David Ragan is going to suit up for the Daytona 500 in the No. 60 car, where he will have to qualify to make the big race.

Supercars star, Cam Waters, is tied to that car for road course races unofficially. Those are just rumors right now, but they are allegedly strong ones. So, what about more expansion for RFK Racing? Well, yes, but not in NASCAR.

Keselowski came out earlier this offseason and said he would rather expand to IMSA than the Xfinity or Truck Series. With more emphasis on road course races in the Cup Series and talents like Waters, Shane van Gisbergen, and Brodie Kostecki giving NASCAR a try – it makes sense.

Speaking of… Corey Heim is participating in IMSA at Daytona this week. He’s teamed up with Bubba Wallace and John Hunter Nemechek at Smooge Racing. Right now, Heim seems like a firm Toyota talent, but things can change.

Brad Keselowski has his eyes on IMSA, has his eyes on the future – and apparently, on Heim.
